Abstract:
An optical lens for a point light source according to the present invention is a dome-shaped lens where a cylindrical opening is formed and the point light source is contained in the opening. The optical lens comprises: a horizontal plane of incidence, at least one inner reflection member, a vertical plane of incidence, an outer lateral plane, and an outer horizontal plane. The horizontal plane of incidence is placed on the horizontal plane of the opening, receives light of a first predetermined angle range among the light from the point light source, refracts the received light at a target emission angle, then emits the refracted light through the outer horizontal plane of the dome-shaped lens. The inner reflection member is placed on the horizontal plane of the opening and formed in a sawtooth shape along the circumference of the horizontal plane of incidence. One lateral side of the inner reflection member is a vertical plane and receives light of a second predetermined angle range among the light from the point light source, and the other side of the inner reflection member includes an inner reflection plane by which the light received through the one lateral side is internally reflected at the target emission angle range. The vertical plane of incidence is placed on the vertical plane of the opening, and receives light of a third predetermined angle range among the light from the point light source. The outer lateral plane includes a reflection plane by which the light received through the vertical plane of incidence is internally reflected at the target emission angle range. The outer horizontal plane receives the light refracted through the horizontal plane of incidence, and the light internally reflected by the at least one inner reflection member and the outer lateral plane, and emits the light to the outside.
