Abstract:
This optical sorting machine comprises a transfer means 3 that transfers an object 2 to be sorted, an identification means 4 that optically identifies the object to be sorted, a sorting means 6 that sorts the object to be sorted on the basis of an identification result from the identification means, and a guide plate 5 with which the object to be sorted discharged from the transfer means is brought into contact to guide the falling direction of the object to be sorted. The optical sorting machine is characterized in that: the guide plate has a guide surface with which the object to be sorted can be brought into contact, and an opening part 51 formed in the guide plate and penetrating the guide plate; the sorting means, which is capable of sorting the object to be sorted passing in front of the guide plate, is located at the opening part; and the guide plate, together with the sorting means, can change the relative position with respect to the falling trajectory of the object to be sorted.
