Abstract:
Provided are an optical system which is bright and has high resolution, and an optical device provided with the optical system. In the optical system, an enlargement-side conjugation point Po positioned on an enlargement side and a reduction-side conjugation point Pi positioned on a reduction side are conjugated, the distance from the optical system to the enlargement-side conjugation point Po being greater than the distance from the optical system to the reduction-side conjugation point Pi, the optical system having a hyperhemispherical meniscus lens LE, the hyperhemispherical meniscus lens LE having a reduction-side surface R1 positioned on the reduction side and an enlargement-side surface R2 positioned on the enlargement side, the reduction-side surface R1 being a curved surface which is concave on the reduction side, the enlargement-side surface R2 being a curved surface which is convex on the enlargement side and which has positive refractive power, the curved surface of the enlargement-side surface R2 being more than hemispherical, the intersection point Pc1 of the reduction-side surface R1 and the optical axis AX of the optical system being positioned further toward the enlargement side than the reduction-side conjugation point Pi, and the reduction-side intersection point P1 being positioned further toward the reduction side than the reduction-side conjugation point Pi.
