Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an optimum calculation method for an energy management condition at an iron mill, in which, using actual values and predicted values in terms of the amounts of utility energy generated and consumed at respective plants constituting the iron mill, and also using an overall operational energy cost at the iron mill within a predetermined period of time from a current time as an evaluation function, an operational condition for energy equipment within the iron mill is calculated, as a decision variable, at each specified clock time during said predetermined period of time in such a manner as to make the evaluation function take a small value, said optimum calculation method comprising a step for calculating the decision variable by imposing equality constraints such that decision variables related to power generation facilities included in the energy equipment will remain constant within a predetermined integration time.
