Abstract:
The present invention provides an organic compound having: main skeleton having a fused ring structure; an electron withdrawing group joined to the main skeleton; and an electron donating group joined to the main skeleton. The organic compound is characterized by the electron withdrawing group being joined at a position on the main skeleton that fulfills the following relationship: Σ｜CH｜> Σ｜CL｜... (1) (CH: the 2PZ atomical orbital coefficient of carbon at the substitution site in the main skeleton HOMO) (CL: the 2PZ atomical orbital coefficient for carbon at the substitution site in the main skeleton LUMO.)
