Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an organic EL panel which is able to be produced with a reduced production cost, while using an ultra-thin glass sheet as a base material. [Solution] An organic EL panel 10 according to the present invention is provided with: an organic EL substrate 12 which is formed of a glass, while having an organic EL multilayer part 122; and a sealing substrate 14 which is formed of a glass or a resin, while being configured to be bonded to the organic EL substrate 12. With respect to this organic EL panel 10, the total thickness of the glass portions in a state where the organic EL substrate 12 and the sealing substrate 14 are bonded to each other is 0.2 mm or less; and surfaces, excluding the bonded surfaces, of the glass portions of the organic EL substrate and the sealing substrate are etched surfaces.
