Abstract:
This organic EL element is configured such that at least first pixels and blue pixels are arranged in parallel on a substrate, the first pixels and the blue pixels each include positive and negative electrodes, each of the first pixels and each of the blue pixels respectively have a first light-emitting layer and a blue light-emitting layer between the positive and negative electrodes, hole transport zones are included between the first light-emitting layer and the positive electrode and between the blue light-emitting layer and the positive electrode, electron transport zones are included between the first light-emitting layer and the negative electrode and between the blue light-emitting layer and the negative electrode, the first light-emitting layer includes a second compound of delayed fluorescence and a fluorescent light-emitting first compound which emits light at 500-660 nm, and each of the electron transport zones has a first common layer commonly provided to the first pixel and the blue pixel, and an additional layer provided between the first light-emitting layer and the negative electrode in the first pixel.
