Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent element according to the present invention which has a pair of electrodes and a perovskite film formed between the pair of electrodes, wherein the perovskite film has a structure in which an inorganic layer and an organic layer that contains organic molecules are disposed in an alternating manner, and the inorganic layer and the organic layer satisfy Eg(O) > Eg(I) > ES1(O). Eg(O) represents the energy gap between HOMO and LUMO in the organic layer, Eg(I) represents the band gap between the valence band and the conduction band in the inorganic layer, and ES1(O) represents the minimum excited singlet energy level of the organic layer.
