Abstract:
Provided is an organic-inorganic composite hydrogel precursor composition characterized by containing a water-soluble organic monomer (A), phosphonic-acid-modified hectorite (B), cellulose nanofibers (C), water (D), and a solvent (E) having a volatility of 0.1 g or less per cm2⋅hr in a 60°C, 1 atm open system (0.1 g/cm2⋅hr⋅60°C⋅1 atm or less). This organic-inorganic composite hydrogel precursor composition has exceptional storage stability and curability in water, undergoes little change in mass even under open-air conditions, and easily yields a hydrogel having exceptional mechanical properties, and can therefore be applied to various industrial applications such as civil engineering sites.
