Abstract:
Realized, while keeping an circuit-occupying area to a minimum, is a nonlinear oscillator that suppresses loss at a first time point while facilitating readout of a state at a second time point. An oscillation device (2) includes an oscillator (15) that performs parametric oscillation and that includes: a resonator (100) having a loop circuit (110) and a capacitor (120), the loop circuit including a first superconducting line (101), a first Josephson junction (103), a second superconducting line (102), and a second Josephson junction (104) that are annularly connected in the loop circuit; and a magnetic field generator (201) for applying a magnetic field to the loop circuit (110). The oscillator device further includes: a readout unit (12) that reads out the internal state of the oscillator (15); and a circuit element (16) whereby the coupling strength between the oscillator (15) and the readout unit (12) is variable. The oscillator (15) and the readout unit (12) are connected via the circuit element (16).
