Abstract:
This outboard motor control system is provided with multiple outboard motors, a vibration detection unit, and a control unit. The outboard motors are attached to the stern of a vessel. Each of the outboard motors includes a propeller. The outboard motors can be independently steered. The vibration detection unit detects vibration in the outboard motors. The control unit performs vibration damping control when vibration in the outboard motors has been detected by the vibration detection unit. During vibration damping control, the control unit changes the propeller rotation axis direction and/or the propeller position in at least one of the outboard motors.
