Abstract:
Provided is an outdoor air conditioner comprising a heat source-side heat exchanger and a usage-side heat exchanger. The outdoor air conditioner (100) comprises: a compressor (1); the heat source-side heat exchanger (6); a heat source-side fan (7) that generates an airflow that passes through the heat source-side heat exchanger (6); the usage-side heat exchanger (3); a usage-side fan (4) that generates an airflow that passes through the usage-side heat exchanger (3); and a casing (10) that houses at least the heat source-side heat exchanger (6) and the usage-side heat exchanger (3). The heat source-side heat exchanger (6) is arranged at a higher position than the usage-side heat exchanger (3). The outdoor air conditioner (100) performs an operation that causes the usage-side heat exchanger (3) to function as a refrigerant evaporator and the heat source-side heat exchanger (6) to function as a refrigerant condenser.
