Abstract:
An outer tub of a washing machine, and a washing machine. The outer tub of a washing machine comprises a tub body (1), wherein a balancing weight (2) is arranged on a front end face (11) of the tub body (1); and part of the balancing weight (2) extends backwards to be arranged on the periphery (12) of the tub body (1). The outer tub of the washing machine can increase the volume of an inner tub. Further provided is the washing machine. The outer tub of the washing machine is arranged inside the washing machine.
