Description:
OUTPUT BOX GROUNDING DEVICE FOR POWER DISTRIBUTION LINES

Technical Field

The invention relates to the output box grounding device for power distribution lines.

In particular, the invention relates to the output box grounding device, which provides automatic grounding of the on-off mechanism in the output boxes used for the purpose of delivering the energy to the relevant unit in a busbar power distribution system, when it is in the off position.

Background of the Invention

Today, modular compact conductors called busbars are used in energy distribution systems. Each conductor, called busbar, is more preferred because it has high current carrying properties.

In the aforementioned electricity distribution systems, outlet boxes are positioned to receive current at the points where electricity is needed. The aforementioned outlet boxes are connected to the current receiving sockets located on the busbar and ensure that the energy is drawn to the place where it is desired to be used. Inside the mentioned outlet boxes, there are parts that perform various tasks such as cable connections, socket point contacts, breaker or disconnector, on-off mechanisms.

The mentioned current receiving sockets both fix the busbar conductors and the outlet boxes mechanically and provide their electrical connection.

In the on-off mechanisms that perform the on-off operation in the mentioned outlet box, it must be grounded before turning it off. Otherwise, the user's safety may be endangered. In the current technique, before turning the on-off mechanism to the off position by means of the lever, it requires manually connecting a ground wire to certain areas. However, the mentioned transaction is a personnel initiative. In other words, the personnel's forgetting to do the mentioned operation or not paying attention to grounding means that the personnel's safety is endangered.

In such a case, human health can be endangered and even face death.

In the European patent document numbered EP3078091 B1 in the literature, “The invention relates to an outlet box which gives output current through the power point of an electric distribution system with busbars and allows the replacement of circuit components on the circuit in the safest manner possible, without cutting off the electric current.” statements are included.

In the mentioned application, an outlet box is disclosed that allows the outlet box circuit elements to be changed without power cut.

Again, in the European patent application numbered EP0555665 in the literature, " In the case of outlet boxes, especially in busbar trunking systems, no arc may be produced during separation of the contact devices. Such outlet boxes are provided with a first contact device for electrical connection of the busbars in the busbar duct, and with a second contact device which acts in such a manner that the production of the contact and the separation of the contact of the first contact device can necessarily take place only when no current is passed. The aim is furthermore to construct the attachment and locking device of the outlet box to be capable of handling as easily as possible and to be as space-saving as possible in order to utilise the installation space well. This is achieved in that the attachment and locking device consists of a shaft which can rotate about the longitudinal axis of said device and has an attachment and locking element, which corresponds to the busbar duct, and a blocking part which corresponds with the second contact device.” statements are included.

In said application, an outlet box mounting assembly is disclosed in order to prevent arcing. Again in the literature, in the European patent application numbered EP0391100, regarding the subject, “The invention relates to an outlet box for a busbar system, having connecting pieces which are led out of a housing. During installation with busbar systems, the connecting pieces engage between the busbars and are conductively connected thereto by means of a clamped connection. In order to minimise the risk of electric shocks during installation, the invention is intended to offer a solution in which the connecting pieces are covered, so far as possible, to protect against being touched. This cover is formed by a hose-like covering device which is arranged on the outlet box in such a manner that the connecting pieces are completely covered except for the side located in the installation direction. It is particularly advantageous for the covering device to be designed in the form of a folding bellows which has a fixed frame on the open end. A laterally arranged clip holds the covering device in the unfolded state. During installation of an outlet box on a busbar system, the covering device rests with the frame initially on the busbar system and shortens itself into the busbar system, in accordance with the movement of the connecting pieces.” statements are included.

In the said application, the output box covered with a hose-like covering device is disclosed in order to prevent stray electric shock.

For the reasons mentioned above, a new output box grounding device was needed for the power distribution lines.

Purpose of the Invention

Starting from this position of the technique, the aim of the invention is to introduce a new output box grounding device for power distribution lines that eliminates the existing disadvantages.

Another aim of the invention is to present an automatic grounding system that removes the grounding process from the initiative of the user.

Another aim of the invention is to present a structure that prevents the user from neglecting or forgetting the security elements. Another aim of the invention is to present a structure that keeps personnel safety at the maximum level.

Another aim of the invention is to present a structure that provides a completely safe working environment for the users.

Detailed Description of the Invention

In this detailed explanation, the innovation that is the subject of the invention is only explained with examples that will not have any limiting effect for a better understanding of the subject. The invention is a grounding device (A) that provides automatic grounding of the on- off mechanism in the output boxes (6) used for the purpose of delivering the energy to the relevant unit in a busbar power distribution system, when it is in the off position, characterized in that; comprises the energy contact (1) that brings the energy to the said output box (6), moving contact (2) positioned to open and cut said energy, the ground contact (3), which is connected to the permanently safe grounding and provides grounding by contacting the said moving contact (2) when the said output box (6) is in the off position, on-off arm shaft (5), which enables the operation of energizing by carrying the said moving contact (2) on the energy contact (1) or grounding by carrying it over the ground contact (3) while the system is on and off.

Figure - 1 shows a representative view of the front of the output box (6) for the power distribution lines that are the subject of the invention.

Figure - 2 shows a representative view of the off state of the output box (6) for the power distribution lines that are the subject of the invention.

Figure - 3 shows perspective view of the open cover (6.1) of the output box (6) for the power distribution lines that are the subject of the invention.

Figure - 4 shows perspective view of the closed cover (6.1) of the output box (6) for the power distribution lines that are the subject of the invention.

Grounding device (A) for the output box (6), which is the subject of the invention, consists main parts of; the energy contact (1) that brings the energy to the said output box (6), moving contact (2) positioned to open and cut said energy, the ground contact (3), which is connected to the permanently safe grounding and provides grounding by contacting the said moving contact (2) when the said output box (6) is in the off position, on-off arm shaft (5), which enables the operation of energizing by carrying the said moving contact (2) on the energy contact (1) or grounding by carrying it over the ground contact (3) while the system is on and off, user connection contact (4) used by the user for energy connection, the cover (6.1) positioned on the said output box (6), the on-off handle (6.2) positioned on the said cover (6.1) and used to turn the on-off arm shaft (5) to perform the opening and cutting operation.

After the grounding device (A) subject to the invention is mounted to the output box (6), the said output box (6) is attached to the busbar when it is off.

The moving contact (2) is brought to the energy position with the help of the user on- off arm shaft (5). When the user wants to interfere with the product, he has to bring the on-off arm shaft (5) to the off position by means of the on-off arm (6.2) located on the said cover (6.1). Otherwise, the cover (6.1) of the output box (6) cannot be opened and therefore cannot reach inside.

Since the moving contact (2), which is set to the off position, is automatically connected to the safe ground contact (3), a completely safe working environment is created inside the output box (6).
