Abstract:
This output driver comprises: a first output signal generation unit (1) which generates a first output signal (Sout1) on the basis of a first input signal (Sin1) and applies the first output signal to a control stage of first protection elements (Ma, Mb1); a second output signal generation unit (2) which generates a second output signal (Sout2) on the basis of a second input signal (Sin2) and applies the second output signal to a control stage of a second protection element (Mb2); and a PN junction structure (BD) which is connected between an output terminal (PAD) and a power supply terminal (VDDH), wherein, in a normal operation, the first output signal is at a low level and the second output signal is at a low level or a high level, and when the second input signal has a floating potential, it is possible to make the first input signal have a floating potential, regardless of the potential of the power supply terminal.
