Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an innovative oxide scale removal method that has hitherto not existed. This oxide scale removal method is a method for removing oxide scale (30) generated as a result of heat treating a metal elongate material (21) for wire drawing, on the surface of the elongate material (21) for wire drawing, wherein slurry (3) comprising a mixture of a liquid (1) and abrasive grains (2) is mixed with compressed air and is sprayed onto the surface of the elongate material (21) for wire drawing.
