Abstract:

An ozone generator equipped with an excimer lamp having a light-emitting tube in which a light-emitting gas is sealed, a first electrode, and a second electrode, the ozone generator being such that: the light-emitting tube has a cylindrical portion having a first end and a second end, a first reduced-diameter portion that is formed continuously from the first end and decreases in diameter with distance from the first end, and a second reduced-diameter portion that is formed continuously from the second end and decreases in diameter with distance from the second end; the first electrode is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the first end; the second electrode is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the second end; the light-emitting tube is fixed via the cylindrical portion; and the first electrode is not extended on the first reduced-diameter portion and/or the second electrode is not extended on the second reduced-diameter portion.
