Abstract:
The invention addresses the problem of reliably forming a package bag while preventing a gusset sheet from overlapping a folding position of a main body sheet when forming the package bag. The invention also addresses the problem of obtaining a package bag having a superior adhesiveness between a main body portion and the gusset sheet. A gusset sheet is disposed on a main body sheet such that the one direction of the gusset sheet along which the gusset sheet is folded to form a gusset portion is substantially perpendicular to the one direction of the main body sheet. The main body sheet is folded such that the folding line of the main body sheet is laterally separated from the gusset sheet, forming a main body portion including the gusset sheet, and the gusset sheet and the main body portion are sealed together to form the gusset portion. The internal faces of the main body portion at the area between the gusset sheet and an end portion of the main body portion formed by folding the main body sheet are sealed together.
