Abstract:
This package opening system opens a package in which the outer rim of a sheet-like lid is adhered to a flange-shaped opening edge of a tub that accommodates an accommodated article, said system comprising: a cutter blade that can cut the lid; and a cutter blade moving device that causes the cutter blade to pierce the lid, and in that pierced state, causes the cutter blade to move along a cutting trajectory which runs along at least a portion of the outline of the opening of the tub.
