Abstract:
Provided is a packaging member having excellent sealing properties. This packaging member includes an annular lateral wall provided with a joining section at which the two ends of a blank material consisting of a paper-based material are mutually joined in a state where the ends are overlapping. At least one of the ends forms a compressed section at which the blank material is compressed, and is tapered towards the leading edge of such end.
