Abstract:
This padlock has, in a lock body (1), a lock mechanism (12) which locks a shackle (2) by causing a ball (19) to engage with the shackle (2), wherein a shackle stopper piece (13) is provided for, when rotated by an external operation, selectively switching between a state of holding the ball (19) of the locking mechanism (12) at a position where engagement with a stopper part (10c) of the shackle (2) occurs and a state of allowing the ball (19) to move to a position where the engagement does not occur, and replacement work of the shackle (2) is enabled without removing other components since the shackle (2) can be pulled out simply by operating the shackle stopper piece (13) in an unlocked state. Furthermore, aesthetic appearance can be ensured since only an operation part (13e) of the shackle stopper piece (13) is exposed on an upper surface of the lock body (1).
