Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a paint composition, etc., which has high wettability to a plastic substrate and with which it is possible to form, on a plastic substrate, a hardcoat layer having high adhesiveness to the substrate and having good appearance. [Solution] A paint composition for forming a hardcoat layer for a plastic substrate, the paint composition comprising (A) an organic silicon compound represented by general formula :R1R2 aSi(OR3)3-a (R1-R3 each denote a hydrocarbon group, etc., and a denotes 0 or 1) or a hydrolysate thereof, etc., (B) silica-based fine particles, (C) a curing agent including a polybasic carboxylic acid, etc. and a cyanamide derivative compound, (D) a leveling agent, and (E) a solvent including a predetermined amount of water and an organic solvent.
