Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a painting device with which costs are reduced by appropriately controlling the physical properties of paint such as density and viscosity and the energy in paint circulation through pipes. [Solution] This painting device 100 is provided with, as a paint supply means 110, a paint tank 111, a metering pump 112, and a paint supply pipe for supplying paint. In addition, the painting device is provided with, as an air supply means 120, an air compressor 121 and an air regulator 123 that adjusts the air supply pressure. A painting gun 140 receives the paint from the paint supply means 110, receives air from the air supply means 120, and sprays the paint at a predetermined air pressure. The painting device is configured to comprise, on a path before reaching the painting gun 140 in the middle of the paint supply pipe of the paint supply means 110, a hydraulic paint regulator 130 that receives the paint to be supplied to the painting gun 140 and sends, to the painting gun, the paint at a predetermined pressure. The hydraulic paint regulator 130 controls the liquid pressure of the paint to be supplied to the painting gun 140.
