Abstract:
A wireless device (20), such as a mobile device, for example, pairs with a peripheral device (40), such as a wristlet, for example, worn by the user. One or both of the wireless device (20) and the peripheral device (40), each of which contact the user's skin, determine whether the other is in contact with the body of the same user. If both devices (20, 40) are in contact with the same body (12), the devices (20, 40) will pair with each other.
