Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a panoramic-imaging digital camera with which a plurality of images having different orientations in order to generate a panoramic image can be imaged with ease, and without any vignetting; and an imaging system using said panoramic-imaging digital camera. [Solution] This panoramic-imaging digital camera is provided with: a wide-angle lens (11) having an angular field of view exceeding 180˚; a camera main body (10) provided in a position which is further towards a rear side than the wide-angle lens (11), and which does not enter with the angular field of view; a digital imaging element integrated into the camera main body; an image processing means which processes image data imaged by the digital imaging element, and outputs or stores said image data in a prescribed image format; a levelling instrument (101) for confirming that the camera main body is horizontal; and a first coupling means which couples with a legged base used for setting up the camera when imaging is to be performed. A nodal point of the wide-angle lens (11) is positioned at a centre of rotation during panoramic imaging. Furthermore, the levelling instrument (101) provided to an upper surface of the camera main body (10), and the first coupling means provided to a lower surface of the camera main body (10) are disposed so as to be positioned, when viewed from above, on the same axis which passes through the centre of rotation.
