Abstract:
The present invention relates to a paper straw manufacturing apparatus and manufacturing method, capable of manufacturing a paper straw while bonding sheets of paper by means of heat processing instead of manufacturing the paper straw by bonding the sheets of paper by means of glue. The present invention is configured such that when three sheets of paper (12) supplied from three paper rolls (2) mounted on a bracket (1) are rotated by operation of a motor and rolled by a belt into a shape of circular straw paper, the sheets of paper are bonded to each other as a heater rod (7) applies heat to coating surfaces of the sheets of paper, the sheets of paper move while firmly forming a straw shape as a hot air blower (11) blows hot air to the surfaces of the sheets of paper, and a circular paper straw is completed as a cutter (5) cuts the sheets of paper by a predetermined length. The paper straw manufacturing method comprises paper (4) consisting of outer paper (1) having no heat adhesive coating liquid, middle paper (2) having a heat adhesive coating liquid on a surface which meets the outer paper (1), and inner paper (3) having the heat adhesive coating liquid on a surface which meets a side of the middle paper (2) having no coating liquid. The coating liquid is applied by an amount of about 1g to 10g per square meter. The temperature of a heater rod provided to heat the coating liquid of the paper (4) is adjusted from 50℃ to 500℃, and the outside is heated by a heating method using high temperature air of 200℃ to 800℃. Accordingly, by means of instant curing of the heat adhesive coating liquid of the paper (4) and firm bonding between the outer paper (1), middle paper (2), and inner paper (3), it is possible to manufacture a high-quality paper straw.
