To provide a parking assistance system and parking assistance device in which parking lot information for a parking lot which had been previously parked in can be shared, parking lot information (122) acquired when a vehicle (V) has parked in a parking space of a parking lot is stored in a server storage unit (310) of a server device (3), and a parking assistance control unit (108) of the parking assistance device (1) controls the vehicle (V) so as to park in the parking space of the parking lot on the basis of the parking lot information (122) acquired from the server device (3).
