Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a particulate water-absorbing agent capable of significantly reducing liquid return, even if external pressure is applied to the particulate water-absorbing agent while the particulate water-absorbing agent is in a swollen state. [Solution] This particulate water-absorbing agent has, as a main ingredient, a polyacrylic acid (salt)–based water-absorbing resin obtained by surface crosslinking, said particulate water-absorbing agent satisfying expression (1).　(1) AAP (2.06 kPa) + RCAP (2.06 kPa) ≥ 0.58 × CRC + 55.6 (In expression (1), AAP (2.06 kPa) represents water absorbency (g/g) when under a pressure of 2.06 kPa; RCAP (2.06 kPa) represents water absorbency (g/g) when under post-swelling pressure; and CRC represents water absorbency (g/g) when under no pressure.)
