Abstract:
Provided is a passenger conveyor entrance safety device that can be easily mounted even to existing passenger conveyors. The passenger conveyor entrance safety device comprises: a comb plate that is provided at the entrance of a passenger conveyor, that has a comb that meshes with the cleat of the steps of the passenger conveyor at the front end side, and on which a landing plate is mounted on the rear end side; a pair of shafts that rotatably support both sides of the comb plate on the rear end side; and a pair of mount plates that are integrally formed with the pair of shafts and that are fixed to brackets of the frame of the passenger conveyor in a state of being mounted to the brackets.
