Abstract:
A passenger conveyor, comprising a plurality of steps (2) having step rollers (6, 7), a step chain (8) circulatingly moving in engagement with the plurality of steps (2), guide rails (13a, 13b, 14a, 14b) installed at the intermediate part of a truss and guiding the step rollers (6, 7) of the steps (2), and an intermediate drive device (12) installed at the intermediate part of the truss and transmitting a drive force to the step chain (8). A step attitude changing zone (Z) for changing the attitude of the steps (2) in a return side moving route is formed in the return side moving route for the steps (2).
