Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a pen-type compass that makes the lead of a typical mechanical pencil usable and facilitates a knocking operation to enable an improvement in usability.
[Solution] A pen-type compass is provided with a needle-side body 12 and a sharp-side body 11. The sharp-side body 11 is provided with a sharp-side body upper part 11a, a sharp-side body lower part 11b that accommodates a sharp mechanical part 21, and a connection part 13 that detachably connects the sharp-side body upper part 11a and a sharp-side body lower part 11b to each other. The connection part 13 is provided with a through-hole in a axial direction thereof, a lead protection part 133 that retains an upper part of a lead having a typical length (60 mm) inserted into the sharp mechanical part 21, formed to have such a length as to be capable of accommodating an upper end portion of the lead, and provided with a cone-shaped protrusion part 145 at a surface of a knock part 14.
