Title:
PERIPHERY MONITORING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/255202
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a periphery monitoring device (11) in which a plurality of radio wave sensors (12, 13) for detecting persons or objects, and at least one human sensor (14) for detecting people are installed in one package (17): the plurality of radio wave sensors are disposed with a predetermined positional relationship such that detection areas (12a, 13a) thereof each cover a predetermined monitoring area (18); upon detecting a detection target that has entered the monitoring area, each radio wave sensor measures the distance to the detection target; and the position of the detection target is detected on the basis of a relationship between the positional relationship of the plurality of radio wave sensors, and the distance to the detection target measured by each radio wave sensor. The human sensor: is configured such that a detection area (14b) thereof covers the monitoring area; differentiates between and detects persons and objects that have entered the monitoring area, on the basis of the detection results of the plurality of radio wave sensors and the detection result of the human sensor; and detects the positions of detected persons and objects.
