Title:
PERIPHERY MONITORING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/059317
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A periphery monitoring device (80) sets monitoring areas (A, B, C) in at least three directions of a mobile body (26), wherein the mobile body has safety laser scanners (81, 82, 83) installed for monitoring areas in the respective directions. The monitoring area for at least one direction is a three-dimensional monitoring area for performing three-dimensional monitoring, and the monitoring areas for the other directions are horizontal monitoring areas for performing two-dimensional horizontal monitoring. The safety laser scanner for monitoring the three-dimensional monitoring area is installed at an upper part of the mobile body, and is configured such that the three-dimensional monitoring area forms an inclined-plane-like monitoring area having a gradually increasing interval from the mobile body from the upper part toward a lower part of the mobile body. Meanwhile, the safety laser scanners for monitoring the horizontal monitoring areas are installed at the lower part of the mobile body, and are configured such that the horizontal monitoring areas form horizontal-plane-like monitoring areas from the lower part of the mobile body.
