Abstract:

Disclosed is a permanent magnet synchronous motor, a rotor of which comprises an iron core (1), wherein the iron core (1) is in a cylinder shape, and p S-pole magnetic steel sheets (11) and p N-pole magnetic steel sheets (11) are evenly arranged in the iron core (1) around an axis, where p is a positive integer; the S-pole magnetic steel sheets (11) and the N-pole magnetic steel sheets (11) are arranged at intervals; two d axis surface grooves (14) are provided on a rotor iron core surface at each magnetic steel sheet (11) of the iron core (1); the two d axis surface grooves (14) corresponding to one magnetic steel plate (11) are symmetrically distributed on two sides of the centre line of the magnetic steel plate (11); and the space between axes of the two d axis surface grooves (14) corresponding to one magnetic steel plate (11) is approximately equal to a tooth end width W of a stator tooth of the permanent magnet synchronous motor. The permanent magnet synchronous motor and the rotor thereof can reduce torque ripple in a low torque region, have a simple structure, are easy to process and manufacture, and have low costs.
