Abstract:
A permanent-magnet synchronous motor (100) is provided with: a main inverter circuit (3) that converts direct-current power to three-phase alternating-current power by switching a plurality of transistors (31–36); a motor body (20) that comprises a stator (21) and a rotor and is driven by the three-phase alternating-current power; a current detection unit (5) that determines an excitation current value and a torque current value on the basis of the value of two-phase motor current flowing through the stator (21) and an estimated value for the magnetic pole position of the rotor; a magnetic pole position detector (9) that determines the estimated value on the basis of the excitation current value, the torque current value, and impressed voltage information and outputs the estimated value to the current detection unit (5); a voltage computation unit (8) that determines the impressed voltage information by computation using the excitation current value, the torque current value, and an angular velocity determined on the basis of the estimated value so that the torque current value approaches a torque current command value; and an inverter control unit that controls the main inverter circuit (3) on the basis of the impressed voltage information and the estimated value.
