Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating cancer comprising, as an active ingredient, nanovesicles derived from a Lactobacillus fermentum strain isolated from kimchi. The Lactobacillus fermentum strain-derived nanovesicles, according to the present invention, may increase the death of various cancer cells, such as liver cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, bladder cancer, melanoma, and the inflammatory substance (TNF-alpha) of macrophages, and thus may be effectively used as a composition for use in treating, preventing, or ameliorating cancer in humans or animals.
