Abstract:

A photochromic glass comprising a glass substrate and, formed thereon, a photochromic film containing one or more metals selected from among platinum, palladium, iridium, rhodium and gold, copper, fine crystals of a mercury halide, and a silicon oxide. The photochromic glass is excellent in coloring and fading characteristics.
