Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a photoelectric conversion element which has high photoelectric conversion efficiency; a method for producing this photoelectric conversion element; and a solar cell which uses this photoelectric conversion element. The present invention is a photoelectric conversion element which contains a perovskite compound represented by general formula AMX (wherein A represents an organic basic compound and/or an alkali metal; M represents a lead or tin atom; and X represents a halogen atom), and which is configured such that the intensity ratio of nitrate ions to halogen ions (NO3/X) as determined by means of TOF-SIMS measurement is 0.0010 or more but less than 0.2000.
