Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a piezoelectric film capable of materializing an electroacoustic transduction film or the like that is highly durable and capable of producing an adequate level of sound pressure in response to an input operating voltage. This problem is solved by a piezoelectric film that has a polymeric composite piezoelectric material in which piezoelectric particles are included in a matrix containing a polymeric material; and electrode layers provided to both surfaces of the polymeric composite piezoelectric material, wherein when the polymeric composite piezoelectric material is divided in the thickness direction into two equal regions while a thickness-direction cross-sectional surface thereof is being observed under an electron scanning microscope, and when a measurement is made of porosity in the two regions, the ratio obtained by dividing the porosity in the region having a higher porosity by the porosity in the region having a lower porosity is 1.2 or higher.
