Abstract:
The present invention is a pigment composition used for forming a coating film that can separated from a base material by a treatment in an alkaline solution. The pigment composition contains: a pigment; nitrocellulose; and at least one type of coloration suppressant selected from the group consisting of a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, a poly(vinyl butyral) resin, a cellulose acetate propionate resin and a cellulose acetate butyrate resin. The content of the coloration suppressant is 0.5-30 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the nitrocellulose. The present invention is capable of forming a coating film that can be separated from a base material by a treatment in an alkaline solution and, when the coating film is separated, capable of suppressing coloration of the alkaline solution following the separation.
