Abstract:
Disclosed are a pillar anchor for an automobile and a method for manufacturing same. The pillar anchor for an automobile according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a pair of plates which include a first anchor plate and a second anchor plate, are made of metal and integrated into a single body, and guide the movement of a seat belt of the automobile. The first and second anchor plates comprise: first and second belt movement guide groove portions which are formed through a drawing process to protrude toward one side of the first and second anchor plates, and guide the movement of the seat belt; and first and second reinforcing flanges formed at the ends of the first and second anchor plates so as to reinforce the first and second anchor plates, wherein at least one of the first anchor plate or the second anchor plate is provided with a dummy reinforcing portion for reinforcing the corresponding belt movement guide groove portion.
