Abstract:
Disclosed is a plasma display panel having a display electrode (5) and an address electrode (10) crossing each other, wherein the display electrode (5) is covered with a dielectric layer (6) containing a first glass. The first glass has a chemical composition containing 0-15 wt% of SiO2, 10-50 wt% of B2O3, 15-50 wt% of ZnO, 0-10 wt% of Al2O3, 2-40 wt% of Bi2O3, 0-5 wt% of MgO, 5-38 wt% of CaO + SrO + BaO, 0-0.1 wt% of Li2O + Na2O + K2O, 0-4 wt% of MoO3 and 0-4 wt% of WO3, and the total MoO3 and WO3 contained in the first glass is within the range of 0.1-8 wt%. The first glass alternatively has a chemical composition containing 0-2 wt% of SiO2, 10-50 wt% of B2O3, 15-50 wt% of ZnO, 0-10 wt% of Al2O3, 2-40 wt% of Bi2O3, 0-5 wt% of MgO, 5-38 wt% of CaO + SrO + BaO, 0-4 wt% of MoO3 and 0-4 wt% of WO3, and the total MoO3 and WO3 contained in the first glass is within the range of 0.1-8 wt%.
