Abstract:
Provided is a plasma therapy apparatus wherein discharge of plasma or active gas is inhibited in states in which a tubular dielectric member has been damaged by an unexpected external force, such as impact force from a fall, and therapeutic efficacy is diminished. The plasma therapy apparatus according to the present invention comprises: an irradiation tool (10) having a plasma generation unit (12) and a nozzle (1) for discharging plasma generated by the plasma generation unit (12) and/or active gas generated by the plasma; and a detection unit (15) for detecting unexpected external forces, such as impart force, to which the irradiation tool (10) has been subjected.
