Abstract:
A plasma tube array is provided with a front plane supporting substrate (11) and a back plane supporting substrate, which are placed one over another by forming a discharge space in between; a plurality of display counter electrodes (21) formed on an inner plane of the supporting substrate (11); and a plurality of signal electrodes formed on the back substrate. The plasma tube array displays an image by emitting light by applying a voltage to the signal electrodes and the display counter electrodes (21). Conflicting requirements of light blocking by display electrodes (211, 212) and resistance of the display electrodes are both achieved at a high level. On an outer plane of the front plane supporting substrate (11), a plurality of wirings (43), which are formed corresponding to the display electrodes (211, 212), extended in parallel to the display electrodes (211, 212) and connected to each of the display electrodes (211, 212), are provided.
