Abstract:
Platform screen (10), comprising at least one opening element (20), said opening element including a door leaf (23) and a corresponding pocket casing (30) configured for performing the function of opening and closing apertures in the platform screen (10) through which passengers can transit for getting on or off a vehicle standing at the platform (80). The platform screen (10) further comprises at least one support structure (60) which is configured for being fixed to the platform (80) and to which said door leaf (23) and said pocket casing (30) are slidably mounted. The support structure (60) has a low height, so that the passengers passing through said apertures can easily tread over said support structure (60) by stepping thereon.
