Provided are a plug box and a data center. The plug box comprises a box body used for carrying devices, and a first connecting terminal and a second connecting terminal, the first connecting terminal being used for connecting a main bus, and the second connecting terminal being used for connecting a branch bus. The plug box further comprises a switch unit, which is connected to the box body in a pluggable manner. The switch unit is in conductive communication with the first connecting terminal by means of a first connector and in conductive communication with the second connecting terminal by means of a second connector. In the technical solution, in the plug box, the two connecting terminals are respectively connected to the main bus and the branch bus, such that the connecting structure between the main bus and the branch bus is simplified to facilitate the connection of different types of bus in the data center. In addition, the connection of the main bus and the branch bus can be realized only by using the two connecting terminals, thereby reducing a failure point. By means of the pluggable configuration of the switch unit, it is not necessary to remove the entire plug box for the maintenance of the switch unit, thereby reducing the maintenance difficulty.
