Abstract:
The present invention limits edge separation at the foldback edge (5E) of a carcass ply (5). In a pneumatic tire provided with a bead core (4) that is embedded in a bead section (3) and a carcass ply (5) that is folded back around the bead core (4) and secured, a rubber sheet (10) is manufactured using natural rubber and/or polyisoprene rubber and a carbon black-containing wet master batch and said rubber sheet (10) is disposed on the front and/or the back side of the foldback edge (5E) of the carcass ply (5).
