Abstract:
A pneumatic tire according to the present invention is provided with a carcass which straddles bead portions and extends in a toroidal shape, a belt provided with a cord and a covering body comprising resin or rubber and covering the cord, the belt being disposed in a position on the radially outer side of the tire with respect to a crown portion of the carcass, and a resin layer which is positioned between the carcass and the belt or on the radially outer side of the tire relative to the belt, and which is in contact with the covering body of the belt, wherein an outer end of the resin layer, in the width direction of the tire, is positioned in the same position, in the width direction of the tire, as an outer end of the belt, in the width direction of the tire, or is positioned to the outside, in the width direction of the tire, of the outer end of the belt in the width direction of the tire.
