Abstract:
This pneumatic tire comprises a single-layer belt in which: resin-coated cords, which are configured including a plurality of cords disposed in a center part along a tire width direction in proximity to each other without coming into contact, and a resin that coats the cords and has a tensile modulus of elasticity greater than that of a first rubber material coating a tire case and a second rubber material constituting a tread, are wound in a helical formation along the outer peripheral surface of the tire case, on the tire-diametrally outer side of the tire case and the tire-diametrally inner side of the tread; and the resin parts in the tire-widthwise ends of resin-coated cords that are adjacent in the wound state are joined together and formed integrally.
