Abstract:
A point group decoding device 200 according to the present invention comprises a tree synthesis unit 2020 configured to generate Mask_planar corresponding to eight child nodes of a node. The tree synthesis unit 2020 is configured such that when the node undergoes quad tree division or binary tree division, the value of Mask_planar corresponding to the child node belonging to the plane closer to the origin point in the axial direction that was not divided is set to "0," and the value of Mask_planar corresponding to the child node belonging to the plane farther from the origin point in the axial direction that was not divided is set to "1."
